Introduction

The SK Static Mixer is a high-efficiency pipe mixing equipment with no moving parts, and its core consists of alternating left- and right-hand spiral blades in a single channel. The dispersion and mixing of liquid-liquid, liquid-solid and other fluids are realized through the cutting, rotating, and reconvergence of fluids as the fluid flows through the spiral unit

Key features:

 1. Simple structure: no mechanical moving parts, low maintenance cost and long service life.

 2. Strong anti-clogging: suitable for media containing impurities or high viscosity (≤10⁶ centipoise).

 3. Efficient mixing: droplets can be dispersed up to 10μm, and the mixing unevenness coefficient is ≤5%.

 4. Low energy consumption: Rely on the kinetic energy of the fluid itself, no additional power input is required.

 5. Flexible adaptation: Customized materials (such as stainless steel, titanium), flange standards and jacket design can be customized.

How to use

1. Installation: It is connected in series in the pipeline, and the spiral blades of the adjacent units rotate in opposite directions to ensure that the fluid is cut and mixed alternately.

 2. Flow control: refer to the design flow meter (such as DN50 corresponding to 3.5-7.0m³/h) to avoid overload operation.

 3. Pressure drop calculation: check the friction coefficient formula of laminar flow, transition flow or turbulent flow zone according to the Reynolds number

Typical Applications

1. Chemical/petroleum: acrylic alkali elution sulfurization, liquid hydrocarbon demercaptan, propane deasphalting.

2. Environmental protection/water treatment: acid and alkali neutralization, coagulant mixing, sewage treatment agent dispersion.

3. Papermaking/Materials: Pulp chlorination bleaching, polymer material color matching, plastic extrusion mixing.

4. Food/Pharmaceutical: Homogenization, emulsification and reaction heat transfer enhancement of high-viscosity materials.

Application Example
The application of Skstatic mixer in the removal of residue  from residue oil in propane, aplant propane deasphalting unit  with vacuum residue as rawmaterial and liquid propaneas  solvent, liquid liquid one liquid extraction, production of high  viscosity lubricating oil as catalytic cracking raw material and  leachate to achieve good residue dilution and improvement.  There covery rate of oil is reduced, the solvent ratio is reduced,  andenergy consumption is saved.
Application scope
A domestic paper mill has applied SK type static mixer produced by Daye Company, which meets the process requirements for chlorine treatment and ensures the quality of bleached pulp. Due to the full dispersion, reaction, and complete absorption of chlorine gas in the pulp, production is normal without overflow, improving the production environment and increasing the rate of high-quality pulp.
