Introduction

PTFE sprayed titanium rod filter is based on the ordinary sanitary titanium rod filter, by spraying 1-2mm thickness polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating on the inner wall. The core filter element is still a titanium powder sintered filter element, but the anti-corrosion performance of the shell has been significantly improved, and it can withstand strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid), strong alkalis and high temperature (up to 260°C) environments. Compared to ordinary sanitary titanium rod filters (stainless steel shell + titanium rod filter element only), the PTFE spray version has the following advantages:

   1. Stronger corrosion resistance: it can cope with corrosive media that ordinary stainless steel such as hydrofluoric acid cannot resist;

   2. Wider temperature range: the upper limit of the working temperature of ordinary titanium rod filter is 230°C3, while the PTFE spraying type can reach 260°C;

   3. The applicable scenarios are more stringent: the ordinary type is mostly used for conventional sanitary filtration such as food and pharmaceutical, while the PTFE type is suitable for the separation of strong corrosive media such as chemical industry and electroplating.

How to use

1. Installation and start-up: After connecting the pipeline, rinse at low pressure (≤0.5MPa) for 3-5 minutes to avoid blockage of the filter element, and the normal working pressure is recommended to ≤ 0.4MPa to avoid coating damage.

2. Cleaning and maintenance:

      Conventional backflushing: reverse rinse with 0.3MPa water for 1-3 minutes;

      Deep cleaning: If the flow rate continues to drop, soak in 5% hydrochloric acid or 10% NaOH solution and rinse.

Typical Application

1. Pharmaceutical industry: decarburization filtration in large infusion and injection production lines, and impurity removal of APIs;

2. Chemical industry: precision filtration of strong acid and alkali solutions, catalyst recovery.

3. Food and beverage: clarification and filtration of fruit juice and dairy products, alcohol purification;

4. Environmental protection and energy: oilfield reinjection water treatment, industrial waste gas particle interception.
